Quick Facts: 1994 Honda Accord EX
Owner Stephen Greci
Location Luling, Louisiana, USA

Stephen purchased the accord that was totalled in an accident for $1700US in December of 1998. He had it fixed at his father's body shop, (since Stephen was in school at the time). Stephen had them throw in some purple pearl over the factory Honda white base to give it a little flavor. While it was being fixed he ordered clear lights all around, and a set of 15" TSW Vx-1's. The first time he drove the car was after he had paid for it, painted it pearl, and put the wheels and lights on it. Stephen had the car for over a year adding a few things along the way.
Later on, Stephen grew tired of looking at the same color everyday. He took it down to his father's body shop and started ripping it apart. He wanted something more than just the average bolt on modifications that he had before.
Stephen started welding on everything. He welded up holes on every panel except the roof and right quarter panel. Stephen shaved the moldings, emblems, antenna, windshield washer valves, rear door handles, and the license plate from the trunk. While he was welding, he had his father call some other local body shops in search of a Lexus GS300 decklid. Luckily, his father found one for free, so Stephen cut it up and welded the tail light buckets into his decklid.
He then ordered a "Black Widow" body kit and cut a square hole in the rear bumper for the license plate to be mounted. He also needed some bigger wheels to go with the bigger bumpers, so he contacted a local wheel shop and had them send over some 18" racing hart c5's. Next came some VIS V-spec coilovers to drop it to a ground hovering stance. Stephen took his time and painted the entire car and doorjambs all with "Sikkens" Porsche Rivera Blue paint. Stephen then wet sanded it down and polished it to perfection.

A few months later, a hailstorm came and hovered right over Stephen's Accord. The Accord was dented all over by the hail pellets. This situation was an absolute nightmare. Stephen got a cheque from the insurance company for $1700.00 and paid a guy from Baton Rouge to come down and pop his dents out with the "Paintless Dent" repair technique. The interior was wrapped in a blue and tan leather with the extra money that was left over.

This past summer, "Audiobahn" sponsored Stephen's Accord. A few weeks later, 3 massive boxes of audio equipment arrived at his door. He installed all the speakers, and went with a polished aluminum scheme in the trunk, which was followed into the cab with polished aluminum floor mats he created out of the same piece of aluminum. He then ripped the dash and tops of the door panels out and slicked them out to be painted to match the outside of the car.

About this time he was also feeling the need for speed. Stephen found a NOS kit on Ebay for a good deal, so he ordered it, along with some other go fast goodies he found at his local performance shop "Sonic Boom Motorsports" in New Orleans. They supplied him with a "DC Sports" header, "MSD" ignition, "SS" coil, "Weapon R" intake, "accel" wires, and the purge kit to scare off any competition.

Stephen also got tired of being bored on his "330 mile" trips back and forth from school and home, so he decided on installing some TV's, a PlayStation, and a VCR to help make the ride a little shorter.

He completed all the work on his car except for the upholstery on the seats and door panels. This Accord is daily driven and is his only source of transportation. Stephen lives approximately 20 minutes from New Orleans in Luling, Louisiana and regularly drives to school in Ruston 330 miles north of New Orleans.

Future plans include dual exhaust to fill up the other hole in his bumper and a H22a swap, but the wallet tends to disagree with him on that one. We'll keep you updated on what's next for Stephen's 94 Accord.
